Here is a quick trick I picked up a few years ago and it works really well for me, staying organized in the field. Whether I am out fishing, hunting, or just out taking photos. This is an easy way to tell which batteries are good to go and which SD memory cards are empty.  Feel free to comment on what works for you to share with others.
