MS2 Opinions on What's Going to occur when

Can you think people will start selling their MS1 account when MS2 comes out? I am in no way promoting anything or account trading prohibited. I am just asking opinions. Obviously, our accounts IDs are now worldwide (they were made universal a few decades back). So, would throw away everything for a fresh start and a couple bucks on MS2 Mesos?

Anyone believe MS1 players will be given some sort of stipend? Nexon pulls against players from other games to try and bolster their new games people all of the time. They provide some sort of reward. I think it is a given that they will do so for MS2 but what will the prizes be?

Unlikely. MS2 may be a successor to MS1, however it is only a different game. Few folks jump and sell all their old accounts simply because they began something new, particularly if MS1 nevertheless receives updates for some time. The fact that's called MapleStory doesn't matter in the end, because the gameplay experience will probably be quite unique to each, and some people might love going back and enjoying MS1 on their older characters, and so forth.

I think a bunch of players will abandon their old accounts, even with cash items still on these, so that is giving up a few bucks, in a manner. Definitely not. If Nexon pays players to depart, it will be a strong indication that they no longer plan to support MS1, and cause uproar. This could be marketing. Additionally, it reveals something of a lack of faith in the brand new product, which should theoretically be able to pull a brand new audience on its own virtue. The closest I have seen Nexon to providing remuneration is when they offered a partial refund to DFO players to get cash items when they shut down the server. That proved to be a bitter pill, and cost them a lot Official Site.

It is pretty likely they could give some type of MS1-themed decoration, clothes item, or name, which could be accessible in a code delivered by email to everyone in MS1; that's pretty standard practice. New players to MS2 who really liked the appearance would then have incentive to make an MS1 accounts too, merely to get the code, and so Nexon could actively motivate people to make both accounts simultaneously, which could be successful advertising.
